In October 2025, Sanochemia Pharmazeutika was honored with the Austrian Leading Companies (ALC) Inclusion Award. This recognition highlights the company’s longstanding commitment to fostering diversity, equal opportunities, and accessibility in the workplace.
At Sanochemia, inclusion begins with the products – and extends far beyond. The company defines inclusion as the active removal of barriers – both in diagnostic imaging and within internal teams. Inclusion is not merely a social imperative but an integral part of corporate culture, continuously developed and refined.
Sanochemia understands inclusion not only in the context of people with disabilities but as an attitude that promotes equal opportunities and encourages employees to contribute their full potential. The overarching goal is a barrier-free work environment where everyone can play an active role.
A practical example is the collaboration with NEBA Business Service, which provides customized solutions for companies and raises awareness among employees through targeted workshops. Several individuals with disabilities have been successfully integrated into the workforce and now make significant contributions to the company’s success.
Sanochemia’s inclusion strategy is built on three pillars:

- Enabling individual solutions – tailored to specific needs
- Collaborating with partner organizations – including NEBA, “Rettet das Kind,” AQUA, and the “Women in Technology” initiative
Diversity is part of everyday life at Sanochemia: colleagues from 15 nations work together successfully. Particular emphasis is placed on empowering women in STEM professions and leadership roles. Through dedicated programs, the company fosters an environment where everyone can develop and apply their strengths.
